What is WoW MoP Classic?
World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic is a server option for the 2012 expansion, Mists of Pandaria, the fourth expansion for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) World of Warcraft. Announced on November 13, 2024, during the Warcraft Direct stream, it allows players to relive the original Mists of Pandaria experience with a renewed sense of adventure. It is set to launch on or before August 31, 2025, with a pre-patch expected by July 31, 2025, and is included with an active World of Warcraft subscription or game time, requiring no additional purchase
Key Features:
Setting and Story: The expansion is set in the mystical continent of Pandaria, a land shrouded in fog and untouched by time. Players explore ancient kingdoms, uncover the dark secrets of Pandaria’s past, and defend it against an ancient evil, the Sha, while navigating the escalating conflict between the Horde and Alliance following the defeat of Deathwing.New Race and Class: Introduces the Pandaren, a neutral race of humanoid pandas that players can choose to align with either the Horde or Alliance after their starting experience on the Wandering Isle. It also adds the Monk class with three specializations: Brewmaster (tank), Mistweaver (healer), and Windwalker (melee DPS). Level Cap: Raises the level cap from 85 to 90, offering new zones like the Jade Forest and Kun-Lai Summit, and iconic raids such as Mogu ’shan Vaults and Siege of Orgrimmar. Gameplay Features: Includes nine new dungeons, three raids, two battlegrounds, one arena, a pet battle system, scenarios, and Challenge Modes for dungeons, where gear is normalized for competitive rankings. A new talent system replaces the old talent trees, with tiered talents awarded every 15 levels. Content Release: Like previous Classic expansions, content will roll out in phases to recreate the original progression experience. Optional Services: Offers a Level 85 Character Boost, Character Transfers, Faction Change Packs, Race Change Packs, and Name Change Packs. Optional Sha-Infused Heroic and Epic Packs provide cosmetic items like mounts, pets, toys, and transmog sets, such as the Sha-Warped Cloud Serpent and Sha-Touched Riding Tiger.
