General Tips

Trash Mobs: Expect Scarlet Mastiffs (melee dogs), Scarlet Archers (ranged), and Scarlet Cannoneers (AoE cannon fire). Use Training Dummies to block archer arrow volleys (Arrow Barrage). Interrupt Heal from Scarlet Evangelists and Fireball from Scarlet Scholars to reduce damage.

Crowd Control: CC Scarlet Scholars (casters) to prevent Fireball spam and Scarlet Purifiers, who cast Purifying Flames (high-damage AoE). Be cautious of Mastiff packs, which can overwhelm with melee damage.

Heroic Mode: Trash abilities like Arrow Barrage and cannon fire deal significantly more damage. Cannoneers’ Cannon Blast has a shorter cooldown, requiring faster reactions. Prioritize interrupts and use Training Dummies strategically.

Boss 1: Houndmaster Braun

Background: Houndmaster Braun, a Scarlet Crusade officer, commands war dogs and fights with both ranged and melee attacks in the Training Grounds.

Piercing Throw: Targets a random player, dealing damage and applying a bleed DoT (Bleeding Wound).

Heroic Mode: Mastiffs have more health, and Death Blossom requires players to spread out to minimize damage. Bloody Rage activates earlier, so DPS must be aggressive.

Boss 2: Armsmaster Harlan

Background: Armsmaster Harlan, a melee-focused warrior, uses whirlwind attacks in the Armory to dominate the battlefield.

Blades of Light: A room-wide whirlwind that deals heavy AoE damage over time. Players must move to the edges of the room to avoid it.

Heroic Leap: Jumps to a random player, dealing AoE damage on landing and applying a brief stun.

Dragon’s Reach: Frontal cleave attack; non-tanks should avoid standing in front of Harlan.

Strategy:

Tank: Face Harlan away from the group to avoid Dragon’s Reach cleave. Move to the room’s edges during Blades of Light to avoid damage.

DPS: Spread out to minimize Heroic Leap damage. Run to the edges during Blades of Light (visible as a swirling animation). Focus DPS on Harlan to end the fight quickly.

Heroic Mode: Blades of Light lasts longer and deals more damage, requiring precise movement. Heroic Leap stuns are more frequent, so healers must prioritize quick recovery.

Boss 3: Flameweaver Koegler

Background: Flameweaver Koegler, a fire mage, burns the Crusade’s records in the Athenaeum, using arcane and fire magic to deadly effect.

Key Abilities:

Dragon’s Breath: Frontal cone fire attack that deals heavy damage; avoid standing in front of Koegler.

Quickened Mind: Increases Koegler’s casting speed, making interrupts critical.
