WoW Alchemy Guide | How to get started?

Alchemy is a crafting profession in World of Warcraft that allows players to create potions, flasks, and other items using herbs, gems, and other materials. To level up your alchemy skill, follow these steps:

  1. Learn the profession: Speak to an alchemy trainer in one of the major cities in the game to learn the profession.
  2. Gather materials: To craft items, you will need to gather various herbs, gems, and other materials that can be obtained through herbalism, mining, and purchasing from vendors.
  3. Craft items: Open your profession window and craft items that are appropriate for your skill level. As you craft items, your skill level will increase.
  4. Repeat: Keep crafting items and gathering materials until you reach the maximum skill level of 300.
  5. Specialization: Once you reach skill level 300, you can specialize in either Master of Potions or Master of Elixirs and continue to increase your skill level with recipes specific to that specialization.
  6. Repeatable quests: Many alchemy quests are available to players that will give them recipes and materials, so completing them will help to level up faster.
  7. Keep in mind that leveling up your alchemy skill will also require a lot of time and gold. Be prepared to invest in both if you want to become a master alchemist.
  8. Try to focus on crafting items that you can use yourself or sell to other players to make the leveling process more efficient.
  9. Many of the items crafted by alchemy are used by players for different purposes such as raiding, PvP, and leveling, so it's important to have a good understanding of what other players might need and craft accordingly.
  10. Also, many of the potions and flasks are bind-on-pickup, which means that you can't trade or sell them, so it's important to be mindful of what you craft, especially if you are leveling alchemy to sell items on the auction house.
