Tazavesh: So'leah's Gambit is a fast-paced, Broker-themed dungeon in World of Warcraft: The War Within, returning from Shadowlands for Season 3’s Mythic+ rotation. Located in Tazavesh at /way 60.2 22.4, it features three bosses and dense trash packs, emphasizing interrupts, dispels, and enrage management. Bosses: Hylbrande, Timecap'n Hooktail, So'leah.

Trash Mobs

The dungeon’s trash mobs are tightly packed and punishing, with enrage effects, interrupts, and purges critical to success. Below are key mechanics for each area.

Hylbrande Trash Area

Murkbrine Fishmancer:

Waterbolt: Interruptible cast targeting a random player.

Volatile Pufferfish: Spawns a 6-yard avoidable circle. Dodge it.

TL;DR: Interrupt Waterbolt, dodge Volatile Pufferfish.

Murkbrine Shellcrusher:

Shellcracker: High-damage tank hit with knockback. Use defensives and position against a wall.

Cry of Mrrggllrrgg: Enrage buff increasing nearby murlocs’ damage by 50% for 30 seconds. Soothe (e.g., Hunter’s Tranquilizing Shot, Druid’s Soothe) or interrupt.

TL;DR: Soothe or interrupt Cry of Mrrggllrrgg, defensive for Shellcracker.

Murkbrine Scalebinder:

Invigorating Fish Stick: Priority target. Summons a totem reducing nearby murlocs’ damage taken by 25% and healing them. Stun or kill the totem immediately.

TL;DR: Focus and stun Invigorating Fish Stick.

Murkbrine Wavejumper:

Mrrggrrglrrlr Leap: Leaps to a random ranged player, dealing AoE damage. Stay loosely spread.

TL;DR: Spread for Mrrggrrglrrlr Leap.

Coastwalker Goliath:

Immune to CC.

Tidal Stomp: Group-wide damage, stacking a debuff increasing damage taken by 100% (max 2 stacks). Use defensives if pulling multiple.

Boulder Throw: Avoidable circle targeting a random player. Dodge it.

TL;DR: Dodge Boulder Throw, defensive for Tidal Stomp.

Stormforged Guardian:

Immune to CC.

Crackle: Line attack targeting a random player, leaving a persistent puddle. Point away from group and dodge.

Charged Pulse: 15-yard AoE dealing nature damage with a knockback. Move away when cast begins.

TL;DR: Dodge Crackle and Charged Pulse.

Tips:

Prioritize soothing Cry of Mrrggllrrgg and interrupting Waterbolt.

Focus Invigorating Fish Stick to prevent murloc healing.

Avoid overpulling murlocs, as they flee at 20% health and can aggro additional packs.

Aim for 38% trash completion before Hylbrande.

Timecap'n Hooktail Trash Area

Burly Deckhand:

Disruptive Shout: Group-wide damage within 40 yards. Use healing CDs.

Super Saison: Enrage increasing damage by 100%. Soothe or kite.

TL;DR: Soothe Super Saison, heal Disruptive Shout.

Hourglass Tidesage:

Brackish Bolt: Interruptible tank hit.

Tidal Burst: Avoidable circle under a random player. Dodge it.

TL;DR: Interrupt Brackish Bolt, dodge Tidal Burst.

Corsair Officer:

Sword Toss: Channels damage in a random direction, hitting players in a line. Spread loosely and dodge.

TL;DR: Spread, dodge Sword Toss.

Tips:

Soothe Super Saison to reduce tank pressure.

Interrupt Brackish Bolt to minimize damage.

Spread for Sword Toss to avoid cleave.

So'leah Trash Area

Devoted Accomplice:

Energy Slash: Tank hit with a stacking debuff increasing damage by 25%. Use defensives at high stacks.

Reinvigorate: Interrupt to stop a 50% heal and haste buff.

TL;DR: Interrupt Reinvigorate, tank defensives.

Adorned Starseer:

Immune to CC.

Drifting Star: Avoidable orb targeting a random player. Dodge it.

Wandering Pulsar: Spawns a high-priority add dealing group-wide damage. Swap and kill immediately.

TL;DR: Dodge Drifting Star, focus Wandering Pulsar.

Focused Ritualist:

Unstable Rift: Interrupt to prevent heavy group-wide magic damage.

Hyperlight Bolt: Interruptible tank hit.

TL;DR: Interrupt Unstable Rift and Hyperlight Bolt.

Tips:

Interrupt Unstable Rift and Reinvigorate aggressively.

Focus Wandering Pulsar to minimize group damage.

Pull carefully in the open area to avoid overpulling.

Boss Fights

Hylbrande

Overview: A positioning-heavy fight with a console-based puzzle and add management. Conserve room space and interrupt adds.

Key Mechanics:

Shearing Swings: Tank hit with a cleave. Face Hylbrande away from the group and use defensives.

Titanic Crash: Frontal cone targeting the tank. Sidestep or use defensives.

Purifying Burst: Hits two random players with holy damage. Top off health or use defensives.

Purged by Fire: Beam chases a random player, leaving 2-minute puddles. Kite along the room’s edge (near the entrance) to conserve space.

Vault Purifiers: Two adds spawn periodically, casting Valorous Bolt (interruptible) and Empowered Defense (25% damage reduction on Hylbrande). Interrupt Valorous Bolt and CC or stun Empowered Defense.

Sanitizing Cycle (100 energy): Hylbrande becomes immune, channels in the room’s center, and spawns four titan symbols. One player channels the console at the back to reveal the correct panel for each symbol. Deposit symbols in the correct panels to end the phase, or take heavy damage from Runic Feedback.

Strategy:

Tanks: Face Hylbrande away, sidestep Titanic Crash, and pick up Vault Purifiers.

DPS: Interrupt Valorous Bolt, CC Empowered Defense, and deposit symbols correctly during Sanitizing Cycle.

Healers: Heal Purifying Burst and Purged by Fire targets. Ramp for Sanitizing Cycle overlaps.

Stay loosely spread to avoid Purged by Fire puddles blocking consoles.

Timecap'n Hooktail

Overview: A fight with add management and positioning near a ship. Use Infinite Breath to clear adds and avoid puddles.

Key Mechanics:

Infinite Breath: Frontal cone locking in after 1.5 seconds, instantly killing Corsair Brutes. Position the boss away from the ship to maximize the cone’s range and hit adds.

Corsair Brutes: Spawn in waves of four, fixating random players and gaining Double Time (200% movement speed and 100% damage every 2 seconds). CC (stuns, slows, knockbacks) and hit with Infinite Breath.

Cannon Barrage: Eight 6-yard circles target random players, leaving 2-minute puddles. Stack as a group along the wall to cluster puddles and conserve space.

Anchor Shot: Pulls a random player toward Deadly Seas for 6 seconds. Run against the pull and use movement abilities.

Time Bomb: Magic debuff on two players, granting haste but dealing ramping damage and exploding on dispel. Dispel one early, heal the other, and spread for the explosion.

Strategy:

Tanks: Position Hooktail away from the ship, aim Infinite Breath at Corsair Brutes, and use defensives for Time Bomb.

DPS: CC Corsair Brutes to help with Infinite Breath. Spread for Time Bomb and Cannon Barrage.

Healers: Dispel one Time Bomb, heal the other, and ramp for Cannon Barrage overlaps.

Stack along the wall for Cannon Barrage to minimize movement.

So'leah

Overview: A two-phase fight with add management in Phase 1 and relic-based mechanics in Phase 2. Coordinate interrupts and relic soaking.

Key Mechanics:

Phase 1 (100% to 40%):

Hyperlight Spark: Arcane bolt hitting a random player, bouncing to others. Heal through it.

Summon Assassins: Spawns two So'Cartel Assassins casting Shuriken Blitz (interruptible group damage and bleed). Tanks pick them up, interrupt both casts.

Collapsing Star: Spawns a circle with four charges for 30 seconds. One ranged player soaks 3-4 charges (staggered every 3 seconds to avoid overlapping DoTs). Unsoaked charges apply a stacking DoT to the group.

Phase 2 (40% to 0%):

So'leah heals to 100% and gains Power Overwhelming (99% damage reduction) via five relics.

Hyperlight Jolt: Chains between all players, dealing arcane damage and increasing damage taken by 25% for 15 seconds. Spread and aim at relics to break Power Overwhelming. Use the ping system to coordinate.

Energy Fragmentation: Bolts hit all five relics, shooting avoidable projectiles. Stay 5-10 yards from relics.

Hyperlight Nova: 14-yard AoE around So'leah and relics. Stay away from both.

Collapsing Star: Continues from Phase 1; assign a soaker.

Strategy:

Tanks: Pick up So'Cartel Assassins and use defensives for Energy Slash in Phase 1.

DPS: Interrupt Shuriken Blitz (one per add). Soak Collapsing Star in both phases. Spread and aim Hyperlight Jolt at relics in Phase 2.

Healers: Heal Hyperlight Spark and Collapsing Star DoTs. Ramp for Hyperlight Jolt and Hyperlight Nova.

Spread in Phase 2 to avoid Hyperlight Jolt chains and Hyperlight Nova overlaps.
